Parents are encouraged to take part in their student’s education through multiple opportunities and quarterly meetings.   

 

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

We hold parent teacher conferences once a semester usually towards the end of each quarter.  Due to COVID safety guidelines teachers will hold individual conferences through phone or zoom sessions for the 2020-2021 school year.  Parents who would like to meet with a teacher please email them to schedule a zoom conference. 

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL ACCOUNTABILITY MEETINGS

The BMS School Accountability Committee examines academic topics as well as student achievement and growth.  Including examining curriculum, test data, Unified Improvement Plans and academic programs.

 PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION

Our Parent Teacher Organization supports our educational system through running fundraisers to support the multiple activities they host throughout the year, supplies they purchase for the school and teacher appreciation activities.   The PTO hosts social events such as, school dances and fun game nights.  These events provide our students the opportunity to interact together with peers in a safe and fun social environment.

 

During the 2020-2021 school year PTO meetings will be the third Tuesday quarterly at 6:00pm 

October 20th, November 17th, February 16th, April 20th.
