BMS Students of the Week

This week we would like to recognize the following students for their RESPECT towards everyone, their LEADERSHIP abilities, and their WORK ETHIC. Natalia Santoyo, Jayden Dupree, Quint Copeland, and Morgyn Daniel-Inman. Keep setting a good example for everyone and being amazing!

Students who demonstrate our school’s P.R.O.W.L. behaviors, PERSEVERANCE, RESPECT, OWNERSHIP, WORK ETHIC and LEADERSHIP during the week may be nominated by our staff or myself as our school’s “Student of the Week!”

 Thank you Violet Teachout for being our D.J. at our Halloween Dance! You did an amazing job and once again your positive WORK ETHIC was evident in your willingness to lend a helping hand across our school again this week! 

Marisol Cardenas Chavez, Adalie Keyser, Armani Jimenez, Adan Adams, and Maria Patino-Corona, thank you for being RESPECTFUL to our substitute teachers, staff and your fellow students this week! It makes us proud to know that our guest teachers are happy to return to our school because of students like you! Our school days are long! It can be challenging to maintain focus in the afternoons, but across our school we have students demonstrating PERSEVERANCE in their classrooms each and every day! 

Aspen Canaan, Arley Castanon-Luna and Aarilynn Gardner, your strong WORK ETHIC was apparent in your classrooms this week, great job!

Each week,Mr. Conca recognizes those students who demonstrate our school’s P.R.O.W.L. behaviors during the week!  Congratulations Bethany Barela for winning a local art competition!  Your efforts are a great example of dedication and a positive WORK ETHIC!  Our amazing marching band represented our school with pride recently and their PERSEVERANCE and WORK ETHIC is inspiring!

Thank you Mia Mazariegos, Payton Skinner, Aliannah Flores, Mayleen Angel, and Keydi Deras Lopez for demonstrating a great WORK ETHIC in your classrooms!  Nathaly Morales, Eileen Jimenez, Jeremy Oppong, Doug Hanley, Jacob Jordan,  Cannon Reams, and Eduardo Ramos…thank you for treating our guest teachers and others with RESPECT!
Each week, We recognize those students who demonstrate out school's P.R.O.W.L behaviors. Thank you Mia Mazariegos and Mateo Santoyo for showing PERSEVERANCE in your classes. Luis Mata, thank you for showing LEADERSHIP during basketball practice and Ezekiel Santoyo for your WORK ETHIC, you scored the most points compared to all students in Colorado using Literacy MS in Achieve 3000.
Each week, I recognize those students who demonstrate our school’s P.R.O.W.L. behaviors during the week! Coach Jesse Stemo wanted me to recognize Julian De La Torre, Kevin Ramos, Hadden Simental Cortez for demonstrating a positive WORK ETHIC during basketball practice! Aspen Canaan, Gabriella Riffey, Jasly Rodriguez, Faith Heit, Adalie Keyser, Jenna Larson, Gunner Gatewood and Kaylee Wiser…thank you for your PERSEVERANCE and for your willingness to do your best in class! Jeovany Mendiola and Damien Cardenas, thank you for your LEADERSHIP by helping our substitute teacher without being told to do so during class! Giuliana Statkiewicz and Alliyah Valentine, thank you for taking OWNERSHIP by “not giving up” and completing your classroom assignments that exceeded your teachers’ expectations!
We asked our teachers to provide me with a list of students who were demonstrating P.R.O.W.L. behaviors during class this week and I received a bunch!. Thank you Quint Copeland, Mayleen Angel, Mason Antinora, Damien Cardenas, Cesario Adrian Cardenas, Tonie Lancaster, Dublin Scholz, Isabella Frankl and Brooklynne Valentine for demonstrating a positive WORK ETHIC in your classroom! We have many students who truly know what it means to demonstrate LEADERSHIP in our building! Jon Negri, Ryder Barber, Liden Lancaster, Chase Warren, Rylan Rita and Dominic Sturgeon thank you for taking the lead on your own learning and leading by example! Speaking of LEADERSHIP, Mrs. Garrison went out of her way to tell me how much she appreciated Cevero Conselo-Salazar’s willingness to help others in need and LEAD by example!
Wow! As Mr. Conca visited our classrooms this week, he observed many of our students taking OWNERSHIP for their actions and demonstrating an amazing WORK ETHIC! Colton Stewart, Marissa Tafoya, Brooke Frederickson, Anastaya Lewey, Jakob Krieger, Wyatt Sargent, Julian De La Torre, Anayeli Abarca, Miley Dunn, Gunner Gatewood, and Abigail Maya…Keep up the great work in your classes! Our students are RESPECTFUL to each other, our competition, our teachers and our substitute teachers! Itzel Deras-Lopez, Jeepsymar Leon Arana, Kamdan Epperson Russell and Bethany Barela, our teachers wanted to recognize you for continuing to demonstrate RESPECT towards others! Marissa Tafoya, Jaxson Costello, Caleb Dinan and Isabella Bañuelos, your willingness to “do the right thing when others are not looking”, is truly a sign of LEADERSHIP in our school!
Kara Ryder, your quick and decisive action helped a staff member in need! You truly embodied LEADERSHIP this week! A BIG THANK YOU to every student who supported our school during an unexpected event, your patience and PERSEVERANCE during the day was appreciated! Thank you Korbin Voorhies, Mia Harrison, Douglas Hanley, Daniel Delgado-Duenas, Devaeh Marquez, David Munguia-Esparza, and Eileen Jimenez-Sotelo for not only demonstrating a positive attitude this week, but for your RESPECTFUL interactions with staff and with your fellow students! Sebastian Landa-Tinoco, Delany Dawson, Lluvia Zermeno, Luis Perez-Blanco, Leanny Reyes-Ortiz and Kaylee L’Heureux-Bell, your fantastic WORK ETHIC didn’t go unnoticed this week. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Randen Rita, Colton Gregory, Giovanni Soto, Aiden Partida-Gonzales, Jordan Martin, Jeepsymar Leon Arana, Itzel Deras-Lopez, Marisol Cardenas Chavez, and Delilah Kuhn-Richardson for taking OWNERSHIP of your own learning! When I entered your classroom, you were working and on task the entire time! Macy Meyer, your natural LEADERSHIP qualities are evident in everything that you do, thank you for creating a positive atmosphere at our school! Thank you Micah Strasner-Castro, Aspen Canaan, Ryder Barber, Abigail Oppong, Rosa Cervantes Romo and Dominic Sturgeon for being RESPECTFUL to our guest teachers this week! Bennett Middle School Student-athletes, you ROCK!
This week, we'd like to recognize the following 6th Grade students for taking an active LEADERSHIP and OWNERSHIP role by volunteering to pick up trash around our school during recess and creating our school’s very first “The Nature Savers Club”! Thank you, Jordan Martin, Jenna Larson and Kamdan Epperson-Russell! Jordan, Jenna, and Kamdan said that this club is open to all students who are willing to volunteer their time, we’re really proud of these students! Wow! We have some student LEADERS in our school who are always willing to help others! For example, Guillermo Faudoa-Lucero is helping support a new student with translations and Ezekiel Santoyo recently helped our staff around the school! Crystal Castillo Moya, Jimena Garcia Mota and Caden Vann Pierson took OWNERSHIP for their own grades and made a conscious effort to do their best in all of their classes, great job everyone!
This week, we'd like to recognize the following students for taking an active LEADERSHIP role within their classrooms and encouraging other students to do their best! Thank you Ali Barrazza Armendariz, Bethany Barela, Trapper Cronk, Jashley Pompa-Torres, Analysis Munoz Marquez, Ever Flores, Dominic Sturgeon, Nehemiah Barton and Maximiliano Lopez!  A special acknowledgement goes out to Tucker Chase and Alexander Aguirre-Villa for demonstrating good-judgment and for taking OWNERSHIP for their actions by doing the “right thing” without being told to do so!
This week, we'd like to recognize our Girl’s Volleyball players and our Boy’s Football players for their fantastic WORK ETHIC during practice! We are looking forward to our upcoming games! Thank you Adalie Keyser, Armani Jimenez, Abigail Oppong, Bethany Barela and Carter Faczak for demonstrating PERSEVERANCE in the “face of adversity” this week, great job!
This week, we'd like to recognize Maddox Wells for demonstrating LEADERSHIP by taking it upon himself to help our newer students open their lockers! How about those 6th Graders? Wow! Our 6th Graders have demonstrated PERSEVERANCE navigating their new surroundings while being RESPECTFUL to our staff and each other! Our middle school students are amazing and inspire us every day!
