Social Worker/Guidance Counselor

 

 

 

I am super excited to be the school counselor at Bennett Middle School and Intermediate School! This is my second year at Bennett. 

 

About me: I have my masters from University of Denver in social work with an emphasis of mental health, and my bachelors from Southern Illinois University in social work, therapeutic recreation, and a minor in psychology. I am a registered Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS), as well as have my certificate in Animal Assisted Social Work (AASW). I am originally from the Chicago land area and moved to Colorado in 2016 to pursue my masters. My passion is working with children and their families to enhance their mental, social, and emotional well-being
