Visual Arts: Kayla Bouchard
Hello and welcome to the 2024-2025 School year! I look forward to working with all of our students and hope we accomplish great things! I am returning to the Bennett Middle School as a long-term Art Teacher Substitute- I worked with our amazing students last year as the temporary teacher for Construction and Trades and I am excited to work with them again this year! I have a few rules and expectations for our students, but first and foremost I require respect towards each other, towards the classroom, and towards our teachers. We can be expected to use scissors, hot glue guns, and other items during our time together and I do not wish to see anyone injured!
Please allow me to teach you a little bit about myself! I live in the town of Bennett, and have my own children enrolled in the district! I graduated college with a Bachelor's degree in Management Research and served in the United States Air Force. My hobbies include reading, writing, and singing! I love music, thunderstorms, and the fall season! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email! I will do my best to respond in a timely and efficient manner! Ideally, we will have a project every Thursday of the week if the students have completed their work and have behaved well!
Bennett Middle School students are on the P.R.O.W.L. in the Art Room!
Rules and expectations!
- Perseverance. Sometimes things can seem boring or slow but we must do the boring work to get to the fun work! We can do it!
2.Respect. Students are expected to respect each other, the classroom, the materials, and the teachers who are teaching them!
3.Ownership. Take responsibility for your actions. If there are mistakes or missing work then we can work together to resolve it and move forward!
4.Work ethic. Work hard and complete your work, your grade is your responsibility. I will help you, but you must be willing to help yourself!
5.Leadership. Set an example for those around you! Positive behavior brings positive benefits!
