Math 8 (S1) (Period 8)

This year is the second year with this new math curriculum. The program is introduced by McGraw Hill Education and it is called Glencoe Math. The new math curriculum uses technology, so we will try to take advantage of the resource as much as we can. Technology will be a big part of the curriculum this year.

Class Description:

The class has eight mathematical practices the students will gain from the class. Persevere with problems, reason abstractly and quantitatively, construct and argument, model with mathematics, use math tools, attend to precision, make use of structure, and use repeated reasoning. These eight mathematical practices will help the students become a successful problem solver in the real world. They will be working with pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry in this class.
